The Bicycle Pump Adapter allows you to pump low pressure air through your cooling garment. If you are unable to drain all the water from the garment, or if algae grow in the garment, you can use the bicycle pump adapter to pump air through the garment to dislodge the water or algae.
The Bicycle Pump Adapter consists of 4′ of tubing with a female coupling on one end and an air adapter on the other. The female coupling connects to the male coupling on your cooling garment, and the air adapter fits a bicycle pump.
You can purchase a bicycle pump at most discount stores.
Using the Bicycle Pump Adapter requires a second female hose coupling so that air can escape. You should have a female hose coupling in your drain kit. Female hose couplings are also available on our spare parts page.
Caution – Do not use high-pressure air on your Kryo Cooling System components.
