About Kryo Cooling

Kryo Cooling Systems

Kryo® cooling systems reduce the effects of heat exhaustion when working in hot or humid conditions.

They reduce fatigue and improve alertness, efficiency, and work time.

Cooling systems consist of a chiller, water hose, cooling garment, and power source.

The chiller pumps cold water through the cooling garment, removing heat from your body core.

Kryo manufactures two types of cooling systems: ice-based systems and refrigerated vapor-compression systems.

Kryo Ice Cooling Systems

Kryo ice-based systems are simple and low cost.

They consist of a chiller filled with ice and water, a cooling garment, and a water hose.

Ice based systems are portable and can be powered by a battery or power adapter.

Fill the chiller with ice and a small amount of water.  It pumps the cold water through your cooling garment and returns the warmed water to the chiller to be cooled again.

Kryo Vapor Cooling Systems

Kryo vapor compression systems consist of a small refrigerated chiller, a cooling garment, and a water hose.

They can be powered by aircraft, vehicle, or work site power and are ready to instantly cool you.

The chiller pumps cold water through your cooling garment and returns the warmed water to the chiller to be cooled again.

Kryo Engineering

Kryo has engineered, designed, and manufactured cooling systems since 2003.

They are used in aviation, vehicles,  industry, and even in space.

Kryo also manufactures military cooling garments and Flo-Lok® connectors.

They are used in all military aircraft and vehicles with crew cooling systems.

Kryo Testing

Kryo tests its cooling systems on a heated mannequin in its environmental test chamber.

You can be confident that they will perform for you.
