A-2 Jacket – USAF
The A-2 is the most recognized, desired, and coveted jacket ever made. Originally ordered by the Army Air Corps in 1931, it has been worn with pride by officers and civilians for over 70 years. Although officially retired in 1943, the A-2 was reinstated in 1988 and has already seen combat in Operation Desert Storm, The Balkans, Afghanistan, and Iraq. The Air Force\'s new A-2 is slightly different from its WWII ancestor.
