Cord and Microphone on Same Side or Opposite Sides

The microphone and communications cord are usually on the same side of the helmet.  If you want them on opposite sides, you have that choice.

Aircraft Power Jack for ANR Aircraft Power Jack for ANR

Cords for ANR using aircraft power require a power jack in the aircraft. A TJT120MS communications-and-power jack allows the use of an ANR cord with a single U-384 plug. A 2.1 mm DC power jack allows the use of an ANR cord with a 2.1 mm power plug and separate communications plugs. The aircraft 12-or-28-volt power must also be reduced to 9 volts for the ANR.

Six-inch and Extender Cords for ANR Using Aircraft Power

These six-inch and extender cords are designed for ANR using aircraft power. Six-inch cords install on your helmet and require an extender cord to make a complete communications cord. They allow you to unplug the six-inch cord from the extender cord and exit the aircraft wearing your helmet. They also allow quick-disconnect in an emergency, which is recommended by the NTSB.

These six-inch cords install on your helmet and can be used with any of the extender cords on this page. They end in a U-384 plug that mates with the U-385 jack on the extender cord.
